Firepit Men’s Retreat: The Documentary.

In December 2020, a team of junior film makers asked us ‘what the magic was’ behind our transformative men’s performance coaching retreats.

We invited them to come along to one, and document the journey of 3 corporate men who participated. This is what they found.

If you're a corporate man who has found himself saying any of the following:

  • "I hold myself back and I don't understand why."

  • "I can see the opportunities on the table, but I don't take them for some reason."

  • "I've got great business ideas that I've procrastinated on for years. I somehow lose focus or talk myself out of it.”

  • “I just feel I struggle with a lot of self-doubt and negative self-talk."

  • "I tend to people-please instead of being assertive and going after what I want."

  • "I've tried therapy. It was nice, but it didn't really make a lasting, significant change."

…And instead, you want to say:

  • "Man - I'm finally out of the rut I didn't even realize I was in."

  • "It's like I've got my old self back. I have the confidence and drive of my 20s, but the wisdom of my 40s."

  • "I'm taking on the world again and stacking win after win. I feel like I’m back in the command chair of my life.”

  • “I'm happy. I’m building all the right foundations—mentally, relationally, and financially—for my future. It's a completely new chapter."

Here is the 5-step framework we use to help you get back to being your best self:

  1. Know Yourself

  2. Stop Being Your Own Worst Enemy

  3. Execute, Execute, Execute

  4. Structure, Routine & System

  5. Tribe

The above is a scientifically-backed framework, life-proven through 100s of clients, and 15,000+ hours of coaching over the last 8 years.

For the hundreds of men like you who have walked through our doors, this exact methodology has yielded over $8 million AUD in new business revenue, promotions, and pay raises.

  1. Know Yourself: Develop grounded clarity on your values, purpose, and direction.

  2. Stop Being Your Own Worst Enemy: Resolve your past relationship baggage: It is typically past breakups, old working environments, or difficult relationships with parents, which has left the emotional scars that quietly makes you doubt yourself today.

  3. Execute: The guidance, accountability & momentum to help you stop circling the runway of "analysis paralysis" and finally launch into your new chapter.

  4. Structure, Routine & Systems: Build the daily scaffolding required to sustain a higher level of results, and make it your new normal.

  5. Tribe: Surround yourself with ambitious and compassionate people who understand you, and are a few steps ahead on the same mission.

While the above framework has proven its efficacy independently through our clients, it is fundamentally rooted in The Harvard Study of Adult Development (the longest-running study on human well-being, spanning over 80 years), alongside pivotal research from UC Berkeley and UMass Boston.

The data from these institutions is clear and consistent. To build the architecture of a "good life" and become the best version of yourself, three elements are non-negotiable:

  • The pursuit of a defining, intrinsic purpose (Know Yourself)

  • The self-assurance that results from internal clarity achieved by resolving emotional baggage (Stop Being Your Own Worst Enemy)

  • The cultivation of a deep, stress-regulating community (Tribe)

All of our programs provide guidance to help you achieve each of these elements to a masterful degree.
